Scrapping your car - frequently asked questions
Who will tell the DVLA that my car has been scrapped?
This is not something you need to worry about as if you have supplied the correct logbook for the vehicle we will notify the DVLA that you car has been taken for scrap.
Are you only able to tow away cars?
No, we can scrap vans and lorries as well as cars.
Can you tow away my car at the weekend?
As most people work weekdays and are not around due to work commitments we work 7 days a week. (We don’t have a weekend in this industry!)
What happens once my scrap car is towed away?
Your car is disposed of in the most environmentally friendly way possible. It goes through the strict processes we follow. We strip all of the recyclable parts of the vehicle prior to it being crushed.
How quickly can you some to tow away my scrap car?
If the car is in or near Tonbridge then if need be we can usually be there within an hour.
Are you a professional vehicle disposal company?

Can I claim back the unused road tax?
Yes, you will need to get a v14 form from the post office or take a look at the DVLA website.
Should I remove the fuel from my scrap car?
This is entirely up to you; this is not necessary as we are more than happy to drain the fluids as this is actually part of the recycling process.
